After the JWWS
I'm going to do this, you told yourself. I'm going to write. I have it in me.
Then Monday came. And Tuesday. The week filled up the way weeks do. The notebook stayed closed. The document didn't open. And “someday” slid a little further away — again.
Inside the room

I did not have time to write this week. I work full time, so I'm just using this hour as a way to reconnect with myself as a writer and remind myself that I'm a writer.
I finished three different articles that we started together, which was so fun. I sent them in. I don't know, we'll see what happens, but it's not about the publishing, necessarily. It's just so nice to be writing again, so I really appreciate it.
The Yom Kippur piece, I finished this week... and I wrote another piece this week. I wrote a piece for Chanukkah... so I'm writing again. It's exciting... I'm writing. Thank you for that.

Author, writing teacher, book coach, and founder and director of JWWS — the Jerusalem Women's Writers' Seminar, which has been bringing Jewish women writers together for more than fifteen years.
